Just bought a Presser Cooker and can’t wait to try different recipes. I cooked a chicken in pieces to make a casserole and it saved so much time.
Yes, its wonderful isn’t it? For anyone who doesn’t have a pressure cooker, imagine tossing a few chicken parts, even completely frozen chicken pieces, into your pressure cooker and having them be completely cooked in about 15 minutes, start to finish. Plus its far easier to get the meat off the bones!
Mary, I use my pressure cooker like that all the time. I’ll pressure cook chicken parts for casseroles, pot pie, enchiladas, taco filling, soups and stews, even for chicken salad sandwiches. And you can do the same thing with pork and beef: the smaller you cut the pieces, the quicker they’ll cook.
